This season PSA is launching a Recreation Soccer Referee Program. The program is open to players 13 and up. It is designed for young platers to have a chance to learn how to officiate games. Participants will learn to "center" U8 soccer games and "line" U10 soccer games.

Participants will only be eligible to ref recreation soccer games. They will be compensated $15 per U8 game and $12 per U10 game.

If you are interested in becoming a referee here are the steps:

The first would be to get certified with the state. This requires getting a Grade 9 certification through classes offered by the state. You can go the Georgia Referee website:

Find the course that works best for your times. Piedmont Soccer Academy usually offers courses during the winter and summer breaks, however you can take the course at any soccer club and be eligible to referee with us.
